| I'd like brisky to prove who it was as I know most of the ppl who won that compo quite well & wouldn't think they'd do it, however there are a lot of other people who'd acquire the tune, maybe directly on cdr from the producers, so i don't want TA tarred with a brush without total proof, if we get that, then believe me the person who did it would get for it, but yeah, prove it please brisky :) |

| Your quite right to say that Ian, as unthinkable as it is, maybe Robert or Jaron sent it to someone and that someone sent it on and that person sent it on, I dont think personally it was anyone on the TA competition, I would be very suprised if that were the case. |

so how is it sure it was someone from TA? were the 5 copied that was won in the competition the only ones given out? it's a thing to happen, but is there really proof it was someone from TA?

Being a part of a label, I can surely sympathize, but to blame the entire forum is ludicrious. There is no way to know who leaked it, it does necessarily mean it's either one of the persons whom won the competition. Promos get sent out all the time, to numerous people, any of which could have done this. Stopping the competition will not really do anything, as leaking will occur regardless.
People who have never had the intention of buying the record are the ones who download, in that sense, leaking, spreading, leeching, whatever you want to call it does not affect the label as much as people think. Surely it'd be nice if all the people who possess the track bought it, but that simply will never happen, as I just mentioned, people who have no intentions of ever buying the record are the leechers. Only true fans are the ones that buy records. |

so? those were my personal rips for my cd player, which I gave to a couple of mates, nowt wrong with that, I bought all the vinyls etc.... plenty of people rip their own vinyl up, all of those are from 1999-2001... I mean, how many people out there honestly know about Blag - Kids Go Free, it was on a limited press run, PVD played it, its virtually impossible to find...
there's a heck of a lot of difference between recording rare vinyl thats from years ago thats extremely scarce than it is releasing something online to the p2p networks that a) being almost brand new b) hasnt been fully released yet c) was sent to the individual as a mark of trust as part of a competition. ing lot of difference if u ask me, I shouldnt have to answer that anyway, Cynical has been trolling me (like Misiorowski) trying to cause trouble for ages.
Anyway, as it has been said, its not 100% likely that the leak has come from TA.
I'll take it up with the individuals concerned who have shared these old tracks that I ripped for them as a request and wont obviously rip anything in future for them. Infact I cant remember the last time I did rip anything, as a request or for personal use (for my car) |

What does you owning a copy of the vinyls have to do with anything? Did I suggest that you shoplifted it? Owning a copy of a vinyl does not license you to copy and share it.
It's well known that you were a member of the POW ripping group, and are responsible for countless rips other than those found today on a quick search. It's amazing that you would attack the ripper of this when you have such strong 'scene' connections yourself. :haha:
Is it that you are upset that this group beat you to it? |

What the flying are you talking about?.
If you have purchased the copy, you can rip it for personal use, in this instance I had sent it to 2 people as they had never heard the tracks, this is the first I knew about those being on a p2p network.
Well, yes, everyone makes mistakes, we are talking about 5 years ago now arent we? things change since then, I've spent a year and a half with no involvement in anything scene related, I liked to download music so I could then go on and buy it, download ASOT episodes and/or livesets. I've spent over £14,000 on vinyl since 1998.
In the last few months I've been helping Monster, I got that Krystal Dreams track sent to Brisky on CDR, he then proceeded to sign it and sold from what I think he told me in all over 1000 copies of it, I've been helping promote the new material on Monster, I did the press release for the label, and have been kindly telling people on TA about the release schedule, providing samples of new tracks, listening to unsigned material so that it could be passed on to Brisky for the possibility of getting signed, I dont see any of the unsigned material that has been sent to me in confidence reaching 'the scene' - do you? I think what I have done in the last few months has more than made up for actions in the past, as does spending £14,000 on vinyl - I repeat, fourteen thousand pounds, if not more.
Meanwhile, Brisky has been sending me copies of the new releases, things like Solace, I dont see that in the scene, do you? same with all the other things he had sent to me. Another instance, a friend of mine from Israel, Efi Rand, half of the Inner & Outer production duo met up with me back in November time and he gave me 4/5 CDR's of unreleased material and/or signed material to try and promote for him, those were never leaked, so thus proving my point that I can be trusted, despite any previous involvements in 'the scence', what have you done exactly for this place? Absolutely nothing. All you have proceeded to do is give people , accuse people of being racist when clearly not the case (I loved that one by the way) and trying to stir up trouble with your mate Misiorowski. |

are you some kind of cop or something? I dont like that ironical smile of yours.
I think most people know that Simcut was in POW but that was as stated years ago and he hasn't been involved in the scene for a long time. Besides that I'm sure that he spent more money and effort in buying records and promoting trancemusic than you and most of the people here will do during their entire lifes. |
