Cyrus King, shouldn't you be out jerking Tiesto off somewhere? I don't think the MD had a "I Love You Tiesto" thread in a while  :haha:

Why the hell do you bother going to Guv on a prog night if you hate it so much? Did you actually go there expecting James to drop some hand-in-the-air Trance?

And to top it all off; genre-bashing has pretty much died off around here, yet you're still stuck in your grade-school mentality and continue to bash . Then again, I guess I shouldn't be surprised considering your musical tastes haven't evolved one bit, the same should go for yourself, right? :)

He doesn't hate prog as much as you think Peter, afterall he WAS @ Guv and did say he liked a few of the tunes. As for genre bashing I did remember hearing you guys say how "generic" and "Monotonous" Marco V's set was when he was here @ Guv.
As for Zabiela's set, glad you guys had fun. He can drop some amazing stuff. I'm not always in the mood to hear that style but if I am it's wicked.

One thing though... I'm not fond of DJ booths that put the DJ way up in the sky like they're some sort of God, I found it very hard to establish any connection with crowd being so far away. It felt like I was in a totally different room at some points... Next time I'll make sure I am on the stage again as I felt that was so much better.

Appreciate the support as always! Toronto rules as ever.... :)

JZ :)

Nice set could you post the track lisk!!!!

I said that it was too hard for my liking and it all sounded monotonous to me. And I've always had that opinoin about "hard" music. Thats why I never really liked techno or even to a lesser extend, hard trance.

anyways, forget it. screw this arguing. This is a review thread. If he wants to make an ass of himself then let him.

I had a wicked time last night! I was lookin all over for TAs and surprisingly I saw none.. Spent most of the night in the front, right around the stage. Mark O definately got the place pumped, I know i heard him drop a remix of Sander Kleinenberg - The Fruit a little before zabiela came on. Zabs spun basically an entire set of stuff I couldn't identify except the new remix of Aphex Twin - Windowlicker.. and what was that reggae track he ended with, anyone know? "say whoaaaaaaaaaa, say yeaaaaaaaaa" sounded very familiar.. all in all a really really wicked party!

CRAZY night!

Got there pretty early, me and my buddy Jay where got into the club around 10:30. MO started with a lil house, got me going for a bit, the place started get busy and by 12 oclock we were already having problems fiding decent spots to dance, its was a nice oppening set . JZ rocked (pretty much what i was expecting if not better), nice to hear JZ - robot phobia being drop in the beginning of his set, I really got to appreciate his set by the end (thx MarkT :D) when it really got going. But for me, MO killed it when closing! Holy , those were some hard dirty pounding beats, blew my mind.

Once again, great meeting a few new faces (MarkT (thx for the chop, it did me well), Max Q, musicsnob_not...?) and partying with the familiar ones(Karim & crew, Graham and Andrea).
