I can back up what Austin Scott said as one of the lead promoters for Montage and as someone who has ben involved with them for a long time. The eventvibe.com crew is all about a different vibe and atmosphere than what we are about. From that experience the club learned that they dont want to go in that kind of "exclusive party" direction. Montage got its start as a gay club and if anyone is about being inclusive and not exclusive its Montage.

When I go to the Club Montage website, the title for each webpage says "Club Montage, San Diego's Hottest Gay Dance Club".
Anyone care to comment? GB Mike says "got their start" but it seems like that's what they're pushing. I'm not too interested in hanging out at a club with all guys, bumpin' into me on purpose or something, if you get my drift... |

Montage has its gay nights on Saturdays. You will hardly encounter any of that on a Friday night. |

According to Club Montage's website, the owner died of a heart attack on Saturday and Montage and ReBar are both closed indefinitely.
I suspect this means no Blank and Jones, but am curious if others know anything one way or another. Thanks.. |
