I personally dont enjoy soundtracks that use vocal type tracks... Im a sucker for orchestrated stuff... The Rock having one of the best ever. Like someone said earlier, Hans Zimmer is very good!!!!

Yeah, he's a classical master!

for some reason I knew that you were gunna post the GS soundtrack... :p

GS seems to be the fav soundtrack these days.

it's just one of those movies that after you see it, you HAVE to have the soundtrack. throughout the entire movie i kept saying to myself "omg this is an awesome song. i need it!"

funny story actually... last summer my bf and i saw Garden State at the little arthouse theater downtown. afterwards we were walking out, talking about how we had to buy the soundtrack. so i'm thinking, "i remember seeing a poster outside the theater advertising the soundtrack". sure enough we start to walk out, through seperate doors. it was late so the doors lock after they close, and he let his door close and i see the poster that says "Soundtrack on sale NOW!" and i turn around so fast to catch my door so we can go back in and buy it. he was like "holy i never saw you move that fast!"... so i believe it was fate that brought us to the soundtrack.

The score in Alien was amazing. Soooo romantic for a horror film. Worked perfect though.

Ready to Wear. From back in 1993. The last track was the remix of U2's Lemon. It was early EDM for me.

Personally, I like The Village OST. The tracks were written by a guy called James Newton Howard, and a lot of the tracks were performed by violinist Hilary Hahn. Some great music on that, my favourite of which is Gravel Road.
