it takes finesse and prowess, terms that half the am-football players wouldn't know how to spell

Most (if not all) you Europeans don't even know how football is played. I bet none of you have ever even watched a football game. To say it doesn't take finesse is idiotic.
and as far as hardstyle seeing a hit like that once in 1996, those hits happen every week in football. And in response to another post, I'm pretty sure it was ruled incomplete because the refs said he never had control of the ball.
And in conclusion, eat a dick Europe. Come back when you know what you're talking about. And stop watching our movies and listening to our music. |

I don't understand how they can say soccer is a full-on contact sport when most of those hard hits would be penalties :conf: And I'm quite aware of how Italians play the game of soccer.............*cough cough*
Even that football hit would be illegal, wouldn't it? Cause the guy went straight for the other guys helmet. |

That hit was legal. If he put the crown of his helmet into the other guys helmet it would be illegal. Or if he went for the facemask. But he hit him in the neck and shoulder which so far is legal. The ref could possibly call unnecessary roughness but that's pretty rare. |

I'm not bashing football (soccer), but since you guys are all claiming how American football players are pussies ...
How many soccer players will finish games with torn ligaments/broken ankles/legs?
How many will fake or exaggerate injuries from harmless tackles?
And yes, I played football(soccer) for 15 years. |

| I also remember seeing in the World Cup it was Rivaldo I think. He was about to kick a corner and someone threw the ball at his chins. He grabbed his face and flopped to the ground pretending to be in pain. It was ridiculous. Flopping is for punks. And I've seen it happen ALOT in soccer. |
