OK I played the 4 hour set of my life last night... flawless mixing, perfect progression from dark prog to peak hour prog... it was ing gorgeous, i blew the roof off the place, plus on a mixer i never used before.
only problem was there was practically no one there to hear it... i had the people that were there going nuts when i started going into the peak hour stuff, but that was maybe 15 people, tops.
you guys ever have a similar experience? |

My closest experience is bangin out a hot set (with records I hadn't played previously, nonetheless) only to find that my MiniDisc had stopped recording about 40 minutes in.
On top of that, the 40 minutes that I did get were crap. The Disc was so messed up, the player sounded like it was skipping every 2 seconds or so.
I mean, I hit this one transition and it left me with a huge grin on my face. I'm thinking "I CANNOT ING WAIT TO HEAR THAT!"
So I check the player to see how long I've been going and how much time I have left, only to see that it had shut off and stopped recording.
MAJOR disappointment. |

| I aint much of a deejay so I hardly ever do but there have been a few times where I've played a really nice set that no-one hears but me. But I usually record my sets just in case a miracle happens like that so other people can hear it or if I wanna see what I did right. |
