yeah thats why this Armin issue is so sad. I remember 4-5 years ago. I used to be a huge fan of Armin. His sets were so unique compared to Tiesto and Ferrys. Instead of playing 2 hours of pure melodic Armin mixed in nice techno and progtrance which made his sets much cooler. Also his productions and remixes back then used to be really really nice. Just listen to his remix of Vincent De Moor - Shamu, Gouryella - Walhalla and Denzel & Dwayne - Force of Habit. Pure gold.
Nowadays I can't stand listening to his sets. They are all freaking boring. The progressive and the melodic he plays is plain boring and flat. You know that the guy got loads of talents but he spends it on wrong things (like releasing the worthless ASOT compilations etc) |

I for one prefer if he plays melodic/uplifting/vocal trance, don't like progressive and techno too much.
But just to see the diversity of what he plays, take a look at tracklist from saturday

I haven't read one reviewer that said Armin didn't play well there, and infact he made a great atmosphere.
But of course sitting at home and discussing you won't be able to capture that, you need to go out and live it. |

1 prog house track
I see 3-4 prog trance tracks
A bunch of melodic trance
And some hard trance
And of course its randomly placed all over the set with no order what so ever.
Its funny to see people wining about armins 2nd cd about being 2 dark lol!!! |

His remix of Walhalla and Janeiro are both brilliant tunes....I prefer his remix of Walhalla to the original, he took the gayness out of the original :D
As for this new tune, I haven't heard it , but I can already predict what it sounds like:
Soppy vocals
that pluck synth he uses
well produced but unmemorable
