| Armin van Buuren is awesome. Produces great tracks and delivers great sets wherever he spins. He is also one of my favorite dj's. If you do not like him, that is okay, because of course that is your opinion. Nothing wrong with having your own opinion. :) That is why we have apples and oranges! :D Cant wait to see Armin this friday at Spirit. No doubt in my mind that he will deliver a mind blowing set! |

| Havent heard this track yet, but typically Armin isnt bad. I have heard way worse, but he does have potential to do so much more with his tracks and seems like he doesnt for whatever reason. I guess in time he will devlop more skills with producing. As for Dj'ing sometime he is really on point on sometimes he is sloppy. Overall I give Armin a 6 out of 10 based on other trance producers and Dj's out there. At the very least he is friendly and somewhat more visually appealing in comparison to some producers I have seen.:gsmile: |

He has already been around nearly 8 years now though and if anything, since the 99/2000 period when he was at his highest the quality of his productions has deteriorated hugely as if he just isn't trying anymore, IMO. |

I think the fact of the matter is that armin tries to produce for the majority of his audience. Becuase of ASOT the majority of listners like this style of trance. I don't think armin produces specifically the style that he him self perfers. I doubt most ASOT listners really like stuff like Intruder/Pound. Hes going to push the stuff that he thinks sells. I don't even really remember him playing intruder much, even though its a good track.
Fresh Prince himself clearly stated that he likes the melodic uplifting/dutch trance that armin promotes. And doesn't like the other stuff as well. Most of the comments in cd reviews also has the same view. They dislike the "dark" cd which isn't so dark imo. |
