gs: Larry David (Screaming B-movie actor) Stephen Tobolowsky (Tor) John Posey (Dr. Fein) John Fleck (Attendant) Jimmy Woodward (Driver) Pat Hazell (Man in other bed) Sharon McKnight (Nurse) Heather James (Waitress)
George thinks he's had a heart attack. The doctor tells him otherwise, but he might want to get his tonsils and adenoids removed. Elaine is interested in the doctor and he is interested in her tongue. George not wanting to deal with the cost, follows Kramer's suggestion of going to a holistic healer. The healer's cure turns George purple and the ride to the hospital is delayed over a Chuckle.
b: 25-Apr-1991 pc: 211 w: Larry Charles d: Tom Cherones
NOTE: Viewer Keith Plenert notes that writer and executive producer Larry David is the screaming B-movie actor on Jerry's TV at the beginning of the episode, while Jerry is drifting off to sleep on the couch. "LIKE FLAMING GLOBES..............FLAMING GLOBES!!!!!"
When George is in the hospital and the doc says he didn't have a heart attack, he thinks nothing is wrong with him, and the doc says: "I wouldn't go that far..." So George says, "What is it? Meningitis? Scoleosis?? Lupus??? Is it Lupus????" He says "Is it Lupus????" again once more, in exactly the same manner, while visiting Elaine's friend the psychic in "The Suicide".
This was voted as the best episode of Season 1&2 on Imdb's Seinfeld episode contest.
This episode marks Kramer's first mention of his friend, who is never seen, Bob Sacramento. |
