No it wont, especially not with touch faders. |

Umm please explain how?, unless you have played on the 1000, aswell as the V6 and 92, mainly in a club as thats where they will shine the most, not in a bedroom. |

| Pioneer's quality won't be as good I would imagine. V6 would probably destroy it and 92 would probably be close as far as sound quality. |

V6 or 92
Two best sounding mixers in the dj world today. Urei = Crap <--tested by myself and i've come to a conclusion.
Or save up and buy youself a nice djm 1000 when it comes out in a few months |
ummm. urei is hardly crap. and if you need something beyond the calibre of this to get your sound quality up you are doing something seriously seriously wrong.
with regards to the djm-1000. its not out yet. recommending a peice of kit that you have only seen pictures of is probably not a good idea. everything about it so far except the look and the featureset is pretty much speculation. |

Agree here. The Pre-Amps on the Pioneers dont seem to live up to the quality of the Allen & Heath's. Taking into account that Allen & Heath have been designing mixers decades before Pioneer even stepped into the industry.
I bet the the V6 is an absoloute beast quality wise! |

u are certainly out of your mind!!!!was it a new urei or vintage?.........i have owned both 92's and my friend owns a V6 and is selling because he like the UREI better...
The UREI definatley takes the 92 in my book.....
i am definately curious of the higher end Vestax....i do like there mixers overall....they are made pretty solid.....but the prices on there higher end stuff is pretty steep |

Based on what?
On the experience of the DJM500/600?
I think dateq will wash that pioneer away with it's "vibe" (yes new mixer from dateq) Why? Durability... Dateq is pure quality. Still playing if you empty your ashtray in it and spill a whole crate of beer on it. |

Please guys...stfu because you don't know what ur talking about specs wise. Just because it has rotaries doesn't mean its the best mixer ever. The 1000 will own the v6 and every other dj mixer out there. The v6 or any other mixers don't have the ability to mix in a full digital domain.
| quote: | Many people ask why is it so expensive and why is this mixer going to be the best sounding club mixer in the world?
The DJM-1000 actually has an unprecedented SNR rating of 105 dB. No other club mixer has this kind of SNR.
The combination of a high SNR as well as the world's first sampling rate of 96kHz/24bit positions the 1000 to be the best sounding club mixer in the world.
WHY is this mixer expected to be the best sounding mixer on the market? Here are some simple answers to that question.
#1 Recording Studio Quality
1. Currently Recording Studios have the highest sound quality mixers in the world.
2. Almost all sound engineers use Digital Recording for laying and mastering their tracks.
3. The Standard of Digital Recording is 96kHz/24bit.
4. Pioneer wants to bring that studio quality sound to clubs !!
#2 The Capability/Potential of 96kHz/24bit digital system
1. Currently, DJs use vinyl and CD (CD is 44.1kHz/16bit.)
2. DVD or next the future digital media is capable of 96kHz/24bit.
3. DJM-1000 can take advantage of this sound quality because of it's DIGITAL IN using 96/24.
#3 The Sound Quality surpasses any Analog Mixer
1. The best quality A/D & D/A converter. (S/N is over 120dB.)
2. Inside the DJM-1000 digital processing is done by 32bit DSP. The DJM-1000 has a dynamic range surpassing analog mixers.
3. DJM-1000 also has the highest quality parts and components in the analog circuitry i.e. power supply; Input/Outputs & more.
4. High performance digital and Analog circuits are fused together to surpass any Analog mixer.
Below are some of the key specs. For more specs please see press release.
Sampling Rate 96 kHz
A/D, D/A Converters 24 bits
Headroom 19 dB
Cross talk (Line) 88 dB
Frequency Response 20Hz ~ 20kHz
Signal to Noise Ratio 105dB (CD/LINE) (at full scale)
Total Harmonic Distortion 0.005% or less (CD/LINE)
Dimensions
428(W) x 359.3(D) x 187.5(H) mm
19 (W) x 14-2/16(D) x 7-3/8 (H)

If I'm not mistaken you're Ken Allen, under a different username, as you were banned from here before. Why do you consistantly insist on talking on every board you join. You've been banned from this forum amoung various other music and dj forums.
Hell, while you're busy whoring pioneers gear, they dont seem to like you much over on their own board. http://www.pioneerprodjforums.com/u...sb=5&o=&fpart=1
According to the last post its only a matter of time until you get banned there as well. |

You just bash me whenever I say anything. I know i'm correct and you know i'm correct also. You just like to say Pioneer will suck because it's not as 'pretty' and doesn't have pretty led lights on it.
I'm banned from every forum due to stupid s like you pissing me off constantly |

I already said we should ban this guy a long time ago. So can we please ban him. Hey kid nobody thinks the V6 is better just because it has rotaries. I'm not going to take the time to explain why the V6 is such a pimpdaddy mixer or why Urei 1620s are awesome but maybe someday when you grow up a little you'll figure it out for yourself. Your total is $39.99 k thx plz drive thru
Oh yeah can we please ban this guy if he's not going to contribute anything meaningful to the DJ Booth forum. People might even read his threads and accidently take his childish advice. |
