personally, i quite like it... it doesnt have the magic that ISOS3 had for me, and i think maybe it should've been just a single cd mix, (dont ask me why)...
i have heard all of cd 1 and i really like it.. havent gotten on to cd2 yet, but track one off it, is really good..

i agree, one cd would have been better. it's lacking the ISOS mood somewhat. starts of great on cd1 but then disappears... cd 2 is a writeoff.
not a bad cd all in all, and he hasn't destroyed ISOS. thank goodness for that.
and correction on my previous post. should read
Portishead - Roads (Sultan & Tone Depth Remix). i'm sure it's the same track renamed. Still luvin it :cool: |

its not exactly the same.
same melody i think but different effects..
there are a few different key changes..
but yeh... it lost the magik of isos3 for sure
but should've stayed at CD1 only |

| First track on cd 1 is the only standout for me. Really thought it might have been better placed in the middle or somewhere towards the end but then again i'm not the resident dj of the world now am i :P |

| Damm 56k modem, cant be ed d/l it but it comes out in a week and a bit at sanity so i'll just wait. Don't think much of the new Armin album so hopefully this will be better. Actually it i'll just wait for John00's white label 3 triple. |

i just gave cd 2 a listen and i really hope he finds his sunrise soon.
imo he should have just made ISOS 4 a complete different CD with a different name so it would not be compared to the other 3 (which are dam hard to compete with) !
i mean something like MDK - Bad is an absolute killer tune but is just not ISOS material.
it is a great compilation, but should not be in these series !! |
