Or if it was a New Year's Eve into New Year's Day set, Svenson and Gielen - The Beauty of Silence... what would be sweeter for ringing in a new year than the countdown at the beginning of the set? :D |

Jose Amnesia - The eternal. Start off with sunrise mix, then mix in the nu nrg mix at the breakdown.
Or basicly anything with a nice long breakdown. I also like sets that start off with a soft electronica track with a breakbeat, then the trance beat of the second track is mixed into the breakbeat. |

I think the lil mashup I did for my mix this month turned out pretty good. It's just Hydroid's intro mix of Blue Tubes with vocal layer from Mogwai - Yes I am a Long Way From Home. So, really I guess Hyroid's Blue Tubes (intro mix) is one of my favorite intro songs (my addition just knocks it up a bit :D).
But actually, I'd have to say the best intro song is Dead Can Dance - The Host of Seraphim... BY FAR!
That song has such an eerie emotion to it. :eyes: Love it. :)
A very close second that has been mentioned... Way Out West - Killa. ...fuggin brilliant intro song. |
