It was great to see everyone out last night... Personally I thought nothing could top the enjoyment I had in the front room... It was great to see you all and thanks for all screaming out for Callies B-day... Although while i was trying to set it up she thought i was shunning her and she got pretty upset... Oh well... Great to meet Some more of ya... Vivid Boy, and Durfei... Xavier... you disappeared... Max Q was trying to find you so he could introduce us... but oh well...
For the time i was there i had an unbelievable time... I hope to see all of you soon! |

i really wanted to go, really badly ,, but i was on my feet for 13 hours with only 1 , 1 hour break.... when i got home i ate and had a glass of wine ,, then the pain from standing kicked in and i was aching everywhere..
it really sucked,,, cause i love lawler... a lot. a lot a lot. but i had been up since 6am with like 4 hours of sleep then working for 12 hours. not cool.
i was tlaking on the phone with james ( enraptured...) and i think he could hear me almost cry cause i couldnt go. boo urns.
i hope everyone had a really great time! next time he is here i will definitly be going.:confused: |

Caught up with a lot of TA's last night...all of you guys rawk...You know who you are.
MaxQ...nice to see you again (Very good memory btw). Could tell you were enjoying it cuz you smiles don't lie.
Angelgirl your a sweetheart. The guy who wins your heart is one very lucky guy.
OK..I got their early hoping to feel Lawler knock my socks off.
It wasn't there last night. Sorry Lawler fans....I found his set to be totally devoid of soul. Too repetitive at times. Now I'm not saying that it was absolutely terrible...I'm just saying that there was something else on his mind because he was not performing his magic. BTW...that's not just my opinion....I spoke with other people that are deep into thier Lawler tunes and even they said they'd heard better from him. But hey....it's all about the vibe and the friends your with....so if everyone else had a good time, then it was all good.
The front...was worth every minute I spent in it. Including the times I was sittin down feeling it. Met Aaron Mossey for the first time. Very kewl guy. Your going places...and I can feel it. Just drop me a line once and a while so I can come by and feel you move the earth.
As for those who were trying to sneak in....too bad we didn't hookup....I could of gotten you in for free. Catch me next time.

The past year Lawler has gone a bit more funky, even with his latest productions such as souls on ice and his remixes of funky green dogs, and shapeshifters....

Awesome awesome music.
What were the tracks at 2:30am and 2:45am, can't really describe them though -- just harder tracks. However, "Stever Lawler - Illectronic Music" or whatever was played at 3:05am.
Left around 5:20am, the music was all sounding the same, harder stuff and got repetitive.
He played a couple of tribal tracks (aorund 4:30?), but then went back to the harder stuff again, so we left.

All I can say is WOW !!! What an awesome night full with outstanding music and great people !
The night began promptly at 10am.. I managed to be the first paying customer in the club :D I came with very little expectations; house is not my thing, and the main reason I was there was because everybody was there. I can now definitively say that I'm glad I came !
Lawler was AMAZING ! I really didn't expect that I would enjoy his music as much as I did ! I especially liked the last 20-30 minutes of his set when the music got harder, and his was playing some electro. Incredible

I am so SO happy I was able to make it out to this event!!! This has been the best party I have been to at System since Misstress in 2002...honestly..Steve Lawler is offically one of my favourites!!
Arrived in T.O. around 10 pm....mad perfect timing (as my nickname is "speedy" behind the wheel) and met up with Highroller around 10:15pm to get our tickets. During this time there was no line up.
Got inside and the music was perfect for starting the night off. I was able to get into my goove pretty quickly. I was so happy my girls Dancingqueen169 and Vickyvale were able to come out for this! Especially u Ang....you were wayyyyy overdue for a party!
As the night progressed more and more TA faces were around and well...I am so happy to meet so many amazing people that are just amazing to party with. There was just one TA that was not there that would have made the night comeplete..Floorwhore..I couldn't help but think of you a couple of times because the Tunes were just SOOO u! I can't even explain it. I could totally see you busting it up on the dancefloor.
Steve Lawyler.....again..Incredible!!! He seriously OWNED MY ASS ALL NIGHT! This was ther first time seeing this guy live...and just over one night he has become one of my favourites!! The tunes were just so great...not a dull moment throughout the set! I was able to dance none stop..(except for my visits to the bathroom...I was pounding back that water!)
I meet some TA's which is always a pleasure...unfortunately the only name I remember is lovingthevibe. Nevertheless I was glad for all the TA's who made it out!!
I would also like to give a special shout out to 5hiftn6ears..it was great seeing you again and dancing it up with you. Although I get this feeling it was a challenge keeping up with me

This is a night I will never forget! These nights always remind me of what I love to do more than anything else in this world. That is to get lost in the music and dance away. Thank you STEVE LAWLER! I LOVE YOU!
