| as far as the FF series go tactics was the only one worth playing ... it had real strategy and game play ... FF7 had nothing but a story line I might as well have watched a lame movie with bad special effects .. there was *no* gameplay to speak of ... unless you consider sitting there mindlessly mashing the buttons gameplay:rolleyes: |

Sheeeeit, I loved both..I recently went into my local EB trying to find them and others like BOF 3 and Xenogears, and only found Wild Arms (which was still great)...guess I gotta buy em off amazon or ebay now. |

No you weren't. I loved the card game as well :) I used to spend hours just running round kicking peoples ass at cards lol
Got very easy once you had a few really good cards though :) |

so my friend was cleaning out his attic and found his old playstation, i was like "dude you have a playstation?!" so he was like "yeah you can have it" didn't have any games though. so i went to eb games and bought a used copy of final fantasy 7, becuase that was one of the reasons I had originally bought my playstation way back in the day. i had always wished i hadn't sold all my games and everything. so i started playing ff7 again, and wow, even as dated as the graphics are, the gameplay is still top notch. when you realize the game was made in what, 1998 i think, it really was ahead of its time when it came out. i think every final fantasy game that came out on the playstation really pushed the limits of the system, however out of the 3, i would say FF7 and FF9 were my favourites, however, I did enjoy FF8 too. anyone else feel nostalgic sometimes :-D |
i found my old ff7 a few months back and started playing it again, in like 2 weeks i got to the third disc and was on my way to breeding the golden chocobo, then my dad put it in storage for some reason, haha |

FF Mystic Quest was really really poor instead, and im so sorry that i dont have the time 2 play the new ones ... and shame ... FFV has never been released outside Japan !!! |

Not true.
Final Fantasy Anthology was released in NA on 9/30/99 and in EU on 5/17/02 for the Playstation. It contains FFV and FFVI. |

FF7 came out in 1997. I played it to death in 1999--2001. I still have my maxed out save with every summon, mastered, every materia. All level 99 for all characters, etc. Timer shows 99:59:59 and is stuck there. Plus, currency is in the billions. |
