How can anything be 'minimal melodic' (whatever the hell that may be) and 'far from melodic' at the same time? Is it quantum-melodic or something?
Anyways, I invite you to take a renewed listen to ADD, and to discover all of the melodies included throughout the album. |

lol ive probably heard it more times then you have...
I can not really pick out any melodies. Maby cloud cookoo & wavy gravy have a few? I would never call them more melodic then trance.
I mean for people on this board not to own at least a piece of work(cd) by ferry armin tiesto or paul, is scary? |

Just because it does not contain supersaw synthesizer melody riffs does not mean it lacks a melody.
But you will probably come back with another witty reply stating that your beloved Armin, Ferry or Tiesto produce something way more melodic, just because those melodies are comprehensible for every dog and his mother. Good luck with that. |

This in my opinion is really really melodic.
I personally like it, the mixing is not that good, but I still listen to it after like 2 years of having it.
He came out with a new one "dj in the mix 2" but I haven't heard it, i bet it's probably similar. |

actually i dont really like any of them much...
I don't really hear many rhythmic patterns, the ones he does have arn't really the focal point of the track.
Charlie May is quite good @ producing subtle melodies |
