if you don't believe in santa clause, why do you believe in God?
Yan
Believing in God is basically reaffirming one's existance. It makes them feel as if there's a reason behind living.

on the flip side, not beleivng in santa clause might be a response to not beleiving in what isn't real, and hence if it is your beleif that god is real, then there is no paradox

sorry to state the obvious but santa was based on a real person called st. nichollos who went around giving little kids presents. god is a myth based upto questionable evidence.

the jesus christ so revered today was based on a real person. spreading the word of god to people; is that not the same basis?
