I'd take a shot at it as well, though, I'm gonna take a bit longer since I'm remxing another track, hope this is ok.
Pretty Good track Dj Virgin and pretty good remix, Snowave's though have some disturbing high frequencies around the minute 4:43, I think it is caused by the constant wind effect, that effect is good at the breakdown or if it was placed not so continuously.
Ani, you need to work in the EQuing , you track seems to have just a bunch of elements thrown there. Too much crashing. |

You have some really good idea's floating around here but you'll never get it to sound "right" unless you try to fix the mix.
Are you sure you panned everything right? Everything here sound centered (especially your pads / synths). It could either be a panning problem here or the fact that you need to bring your solo's in a more. Your song is missing fullness.
Right now it sounds like your hi hats and kick are above everything else. Don't lower the percussion, try bringing foward everything else. Anyway, I'm almost certain your problem is panning. Alot of people forget ot pan and everything turns out being dead center.
Also, I'd say add a bit more low end db to your bass to bring it out a bit more.
Eh, try it. May just help.

Thanks dude, I'll be sure to try that out. I haven't focused as much on mastering just yet (even though I should be) and you're right, everything is pretty much centered. I'll fill out the mix a bit and work on the low end on my next update =) Thanks for the honest feedback -- I think I've listen to this sooo many times that it starts to sound good just from recognition haha.. I'll definitely want to get this as close to "finished" as I can by the end of the weekend, so hopefully there'll be a nice update coming up... we'll see =) |

Hey glad you liked the track =) My notebook PC just died so I won't be able to update this track until maybe next week... but I'll keep you posted for sure.
