i am sooo sick of these producers coming out with goood tracks and then not releasing them.....at least make it so anyone can purchase them online....
swing 2 harmony (deserves a dub mix) is a good example... |

:haha:
i think producers should keep more stuff exclusive. I mean there are some songs id love to have. But after I would get them they would lose their "value." |

I agree with you but also with tc-fan to a certain extent. It's true that tracks have great value and exclusiveness when only the producer and a few major DJs have it. But at the same time, they get marketed sooooo much that by the time they are released for sale, the track's been played the hell out of and I'm not interested anymore. |

someone is greedy, what have you done to earn the tracks? |

| it's not like we plan on having something unreleased. very rarely, and i mean very rarely would we like to see something of ours NOT released. its usually labels not releasing it, not us who make it. the reason we can't give it out for free again is because of labels. so yell at them |

| seriously, djs should keep re-edits, own remixes and whatever to themselves. it's because of the pvdtracklistwhoring syndrome (note, i am not pointing fingers at the pvdwhores). |

It's not the producers fault.
I'm sure they'd like to release their songs and earn money.
But you have to remember it's labels that do the releasing,
and mostly they're interested in only what they know will make profit.
See this is why mp3 downloads are killing the little guys,
no one is willing to risk releasing their stuff since they know most people will download it anyway and won't buy it.
With big hits it's easier but still, it's not like it used to be. |

I believe that these tracks should be kept away from the buying-public and when they are dropped by the actual DJ/Producer then it makes it more special so you wont get sick of hearing the track too often. It is thier own work and doesnt need to be shared with everyone....
eg. Fasano's mixes of Sinner Man and Doom's Night! |
