Haha! The singles collection of the Pet Shop Boys was my introduction. Honestly the whole concept of drum machine + synthlines + catchy vocal is pretty old really. Even older than the Pet Shop Boys, but they were the first ones to do it good, and I mean REALLY GOOD! |

You guys want to know what I say to that? I say that the Underground DJs are full of it. I for one am VERY glad someone decided to give this genre of music some commerical success. DJ Sammy is what got me into the genre of EDM a LONG time ago back when I was about 10 or 12 years old. Then after that I thought I'd look up some of the other DJs out there. I was amazing at all the different DJ and subgenres of EDM they had. |
