| Are there any good trance clubs in Houston as I've searched around and couldn't find anything. Driving over to Austin every week isn't going to fun.. and on that note is Eternal worth the drive or is it a small club? |

Boised, there are several clubs in Houston that, every once in a while, will play a few trance choons. Some of them include:
Gatsby
Rich's
Spy
Opus (Weekends)
HUSH (Weekends)
Numbers (1 & 2)
If you are into younger aged clubs like Hurricane Hut (Richmond), or Roxy, they will sometimes play some good house, maybe Break-Beats every once in a while. As far as clubs that play nothing but trance you will have no luck finding.
Just wait until I finish college and become an architect. I guarantee you I will open up a club that plays nothing but Trance. I'll call over people like Armin Van Buuren, Nu NRG, Above & Beyond, Tiësto, and even our own Dj Matthias to dj at the club. In fact, I have been designing a club with the capacity of about 5000 people.
It's something I like to have fun with. But who knows, this "fun" may turn out to be the real deal one day! And dont worry, I only have about 3 more years to finish undergrad school...
PEACE!:whip:

Right on bro..just saw this. I'd be down to help however I can.
As far as trance clubs in Houston...there really isn't a loyal market here for it (sad to say) so there really aren't any regular events with the exception of the occasional headliner that gets brought in by Sean Carnahan. Matthew Dunn and Tranceision play trance...they run Chemistry records over on Westheimer so your best bet is to drop by there and I am sure they'd be happy to hook ya up with info on their events. |

yeah unfortunately I have parted ways with Tranceision and Chemistry due to some less than honest events and business practices that have transpired on their part,
HOWEVER I am currently getting SEVERAL things in order (including an all new venue) to do events here in houston that are based more around the trance/progressive sound. Several of Houston's more noteable and reputable promoters have offered their complete support in whatever I do, so that should give you an idea of the calibur things I and my team have coming up :)
that reminds me... Matt, I need a copy of your newest CD from you. :) |

If you don't mind going to a gay club, go to South Beach. It's a gay club, but there are uber hotties there also, i guess they mostly come w/ their gay friends. But everytime i've went, they played some excellent EDM, and i pulled hot chicks.
