Wonder why they keep posting over and over again with ever more rediculous reasons as to why its bad.

Wonder why once they've made their point once they keep needing to go out of their way to try and convince others its bad? (even though ASOT2005 is a beautiful put together album and a joy to listen to if you're a fan of the trance/prog music of today)

Wonder why the likes of sandstorm keep a look out for threads about ASOT2005 and post, when you'd think if they didn't like it they'd of moved on already and have better things to do with their spare time like get a life?!?.

The answer to that question speaks for itself.

The scene has moved on, along with music apreciators such as myself.

Get over it children, you don't like it fine, but you've made your point already, the more you post saying its crap, with ever more stupid reasons, the more you make yourselves look like armin haters on a sad little mission. :toocool:
It just hurts them to see people enjoy it and move on with their life and the change of music when they are still stuck in pre-2000. Understandable, due to jealousy, but yes it does get old when it is mentioned in EVERY thread ever related to the topic. :p

The majority of us have moved on in pursuit of music that innovates & does something for us, we don't just sit here feeling sorry for how bad trance is, we go out & find stuff we do like, sadly the majority of said stuff never gets a small percentage of the hype because it's not the 'in' stuff

no need to bash the critics again Arksun. After listening to the album a couple of times I can easily say that there are very few tunes that I remember after one hour. Most tunes just goes in through one ear and out through the other. Sure the mixing is nice but it takes more than flawless mixing to make up a good compilation.

Nah this is poor, i rather hunt my copy of 004 Transparance. That is a compilation with both good mixing and great track selection.

excellent reply again mate, we're not bashing it to look good or something, we're pointing out genuine points that a fair few people feel also. Fairplay to the guy, his tracks on there so he's gonna be confident about it all, but it just doesn't do it for me

we couldn't expect something else from he, could we? i mean it would look funny if Arksun said something negative about this compilation 8)

the light cd pwned the dark cd imo.

Some tracks look pretty good there - I loved Perfect Wave so I wonder what Anthanaesias new track will be like, perfect Blue.

all comes down to opinion in the end. i mean.. i personally love old trance, and i also love new trance. i also love progressive house, and progressive trance. i also love breakbeat. only thing i really despise is funky house... but thats prolly cuz i'm not old enough.

for me its all about the melodies, and the production quality, layering, contrasting melodies, subtle details that most listeners don't notice... i especially started noticing very minute details (even just a stupid sound effect or echoing percussion) after i started producing. listening to each person's style and how they acheive their final product...

ah well.. i'm just not a hater... (except house!)
