It's in my mp3 player since release :D
On CD1 I love how first 3 tunes are just blended in together as if it was one first song. And then it goes on with the next few, so perfectly matched you can't stop listening to it, Space Guitar, In The End, and my favorite tune on CD Elevation - Ocean Rain, just amazing, and the Shivers tops it!
The you have 3-4 dance tracks to make the 'party' complete.
Awesome CD.
CD2 is a bit different, but tunes blend in just as well, I don't like it as much as CD1 though, perhaps my fav. tune there is Blank & Jones - Perfect Silence (E-Craig 212 Vocal Mix), overall once you start listening to it, you won't want to press stop until it ends, it's that good.
And who cares what some Ian and sandstorm say, all I hear/read is noise from their mouths/keyboards. They need to scroll that button and adjust the frequency to ASOT :haha: |

Besides the vocal that seems to be a problem with many (but just as many like it), I like what the chick actually sings about, 2ndly it's the way she sings it that I like it, and 3rd I like Birth Of An Angel, generic as it may seem, it works great in a club and it's been proven to. So to sum it up, yea I like it. |

i love the cd, but i have a question:
did armin make a mistake with the volume of jessica riddle's vocals in 'gone'? They just seem so low volume?? Im asking this because i heard armin mixed this cd in ableton live and he got all tracks exclusivily in individual parts (vocals, kick, percussion, melody) to be able to mix it better... |

exactly why i hate this track - nothing original, innovative or unique about this track - armin is just recycling old music - as a fan you should expect more from him and hope that he grows and improves as a producer. this track clearly indicates that he hasn't. given his status as a dj, he should be moving the music forward - not backwards. very disappointing.
hint to armin: read my sig ;) |

I'd rather slit every vein & artery in my body and stick my head in a blender and my hand in a toaster to electrocute myself then jump into a bath than do that :happy2: :happy2: |

| beauty is in the eye of the beholder. so yes, even '50 cent - in da club' can be beautiful, that is why there can't be bad tracks... |

Exactly Dickie-T, I've read many reviews from people's night out, when he dropped Shivers the place went crazy. Perhaps that's it's purpose you know, but I can tell you that other 17 tunes on his forthcoming album will sound different from it.
Another thing is that this song sounds like from 2001 which people today call dead trance as if it's forbidden to make such tunes anymore, but there's some of us that still like those old sounds and tunes, in another word dutch epic trance is still alive. |

Ever notice how children like Sandstorm03 continue to go out of their way to post in threads like this to attack Armin's new ASOT2005 album.
Wonder why they keep posting over and over again with ever more rediculous reasons as to why its bad.
Wonder why once they've made their point once they keep needing to go out of their way to try and convince others its bad? (even though ASOT2005 is a beautiful put together album and a joy to listen to if you're a fan of the trance/prog music of today)
Wonder why the likes of sandstorm keep a look out for threads about ASOT2005 and post, when you'd think if they didn't like it they'd of moved on already and have better things to do with their spare time like get a life?!?.
The answer to that question speaks for itself.
The scene has moved on, along with music apreciators such as myself.
Get over it children, you don't like it fine, but you've made your point already, the more you post saying its crap, with ever more stupid reasons, the more you make yourselves look like armin haters on a sad little mission. :toocool: |
+1 tracklist is great (what more else can you expect you idiots) |
