Hello...

I'm from germany and need some infos about the upcoming Armin Only @ The Gallery / Turnmills.

How far is Turnmills from Stansted Airport. Can I get to Turnmills by train? How much would it cost?

When will the party start / end?

Where can I get tickets and how much do I have to pay for them.

I checkes www.turnmills.co.uk but didn't find all of the information I need to know.

I found some information about the train situation. It would cost 16 pounds one way from Stansted to Farringdon, but is there any chance to get it cheapier?

It would be great if anyone could help me :-)

Why shouldn't I go? Why do you think it won't be good?

I were at Armin Only on the ocean diva and it was great!

Or do you think the location/club isn't good or what?

Please tell me WHY...

me u guys are helpful arent ya:p

Feckin well expensive travelling from the airport to london
check here: http://www.baa.com/main/airports/st...here_frame.html
Best u can do is probably that terravision coach for £14 return taking 75 mins. Once you get to central london you'll then either have to get a travelcard costing a ing rip off 5 pounds and a bit, or you can just get a single for london underground zone 1 which is £2.
Basically they rip you off travelling from the airport but thats cos they can because you have too.

Farringdon easy to get on underground, 1 stop from Kings Cross.
Easy walk from farringdon station to turnmills too, just take the first left, which basically goes back along the side of the train tracks and its at the end of the road. If you take the 2nd left which seems like more of a left than the one your supposed to take you will end up at fabric for some drum n bass e.

If you get to turnmills before 11.30 you pay £12, after that £15. No point getting there before 11 because the music will be e and there wont be anyone in there. Finishes at 7.30am i think, though sometimes runs on a little. Last armin 8 hour one went on till 8 at least.

If your a rich ing bastard you can drink a lot in there, otherwise i would recommend going somewhere cheaper first, or getting yourself a bottle of vodka and a coke and mixing it in the street :D
Drugs are easy to buy inside, pills for a fiver. Dont get caught taking any though, cos the bouncers will come up to you and waste five minutes of your time asking you dumbass questions then performing the most lame of pocket searches ever, until they finally off and you go tell your mates how the bouncers couldnt find your pills:p

You can maybe get tickets from either ticketmaster orticketweb but there's no need to pay in advance cos it wont be that busy and you wont have to queue for long, if at all. Plus you'll have to pay full price if you book on the net, plus probably some ing booking fee.

As for why you shouldnt go, you'll have to work that out for yourself;) (nothing to do with the club, tis my fave in london)

@ mentalbarter: thank you, you helped me a lot.

but it's really that you have to pay so much for train traveling! I would have to pay the same amount of money for train traveling as I have to pay for the flights... :eyes:

can you tell me something about the gallery? what kind of club is it? what kind of people will be there? is there any dresscode or so?

:stongue:

Turnmills isn't your regular "messy" club...Its not like Casino in Berlin, which is just a big warehouse, its very nicely done, quite "trendy" so to speak. So you don't find many ravers there lol. Casual dress is fine. As long as you're not a chav then its all good :tongue2

Hey guys,

ill be backpacking across europe for 6 weeks and i asked my buddy who studied in london about the dress code for turnmills and he said london casual which is diff than U.S. casual. Im assuming nice jeans, button down shirt, and shoes would be fine right? I wont have black shoes or anything like that with me... im not tryin to be the most fashionable one just wanna hear armin spin for 8 hours...

id be down if there was a meet up seeing as how i dont really know anyone over there and its not a whole lot of fun to go by yourself
