I've seen him 4 times now, and 2 out of the 4 was an "off" night for him so i hope he does a really good job this time around! Although I don't know becuase i wasn't too crazy about his ASOTS lately. We'll see what he comes up with today. |

Half good half bad....that's not good.
I don't even listen to ASOT anymore because there's too much prog in it. He needs to stick to stuff like his Trance Energy set. That was just amazing. I was there and could NOT believe how good he was ripping it. |

Over 11,000 Armin worshippers in attendance! Some great camera angles show a glimpse of all the awesomeness and how massive the venue was.
There were a number of track with vocals that were sung live which was pretty cool! (Shivers!!) Armin's brother Eller van Buuren even came out playing backup on electric guitar for a couple tracks.

I actually really like the proggy-trance he plays on ASOT. So melodic.
The Trance Energy 2006 set was DEF a banger, but imo (i STRESS imo) thats not ARMIN at his best.....
That tracklist of the set at Space wasnt that bad, just bad timing building it up the way he did AFTER Dekay and Markus.....
On a solo night, that set woulda been ACE :) |
