i am. had one issue the night i bought it, it froze... but nothing since

am very pleased w/ it... and i just love the way it n looks and the Click Wheel is amazing... love using it.

i am glad, despite some of the negative comments about it, that i went w/ the iPod instead of the Zen Micro...

i truly do love Gertie! shes my new best friend... speaking of that... gotta charge her up for when i go back to the office!

I've had mine for 2 years, and my battery has been the issue. Maybe I use mine more than you do? Or maybe I get stuck with crappy batteries !!

Batteries appear to be one of the chief issues w/ the iPods it seems, from whut ive read...

i still love my little Gertie tho! if there are issues, thats whut my AppleCare or whutever plan is for! :) :)

iPod + DJ set = :) 2hour DJ sets play realy well on the iPod.

Apple has significantly improved the battery life on all the iPods since the ones we got Linzie. Also I think you got yours on eBay so you never know. I haven't had any problems with my battery at all although I find that the battery meter's alittle weird cause it goes up and down randomly sometimes on a rare occasion :p

All the new models have excellent battery life!

6 hour sets don't bode well. My iPod s itself when I try to play a DJ set thats 6 hours or so long, heheh. I have to reset it because it goes bonkers and plays every 3 seconds intermittantly.

Lindsay, I use mine about 3-4 hours per day, every day. However, 99% in my car, and I always have the car charger plugged in. When I get the rare chance to use it at work, its for no more than 1.5hrs, and the battery level never drops below full on the indicator.

18 hours on my puppy... never had a chance to test it out really yet tho... and i do alot of tinkering and playing around (i guess bc its still new to me) so no way mine will ever last 18 hours tho ;)

Another reason why I want an iPod...for my car!

how much was the adapter for you?

Okay guys, im officially a toolbox.

the stupid mp3 directory was just a hidden directory (albiet the iPod does split the the songs into like 40 different folders, some w/ 1 song or some with 2 or 3 songs in them)

, damn i dunno how the jesus this escaped me before :conf:

:o pretty bad if u ask me on my part!

:wtf:

I paid $30 for the car charger and $50 for the iTrip FM transmitter.
