Hospitals Suck! Im Back!

Just spent a week in hospital. As some of you know i got probs with my insides at the moment and they dont know what it is.
Got paramedics called to my house last Sunday because i was in agony, they gave me Entenox (laughing gas) and Morphine to try to take the pain away and was rushed to hospital.
They still dont know what it is, had to have loads of tests, x-rays, and a barium (sp.?) meal. They still dont know whats wrong and im still in pain but im just glad to be home! |

Wow. That really sucks. If you haven't, you should go to a specialist if they isolate what might be the problem. Hope they find out what's wrong.
And yeah, hospitals do suck. Just to think how many people die there, and that smell.. Ugh. I think the main thing that gets me is seeing your loved one hooked up to a spider web of tubes. |

It's quite worrying that they seem not to find out what the problem is even though you've had this pain for quite a long time. I thought you had said it was an urinary infection or something of this sort?

| too bad jennypie wasn't on duty. :p hope they figure out what wrong with you. could have been just gas pain or food posioning |

It wouldnt be gas after 6 weeks, lol...that would be one hell of a curry!
Entenox was good, Morphine was better! :)
I have a proffesor dealing with me now because its a "Specialist case" or somat, he says its unlikely it was a water infection because they didnt culture the sample to check for bacteria or something.
And no im not pissing Blood anymore. I know all hospitals arent bad...just most NHS ones are :p |

im no specialist. but they should check for eccoli poisoning.
u eat any undercook meat in the last little while? |

| if u class Sushi as undercooked meat then yes! They've ran loads of blood tests so i guess they checked for e-coli. |

alright thats cool. im just asking because my brother was in the similar situation once. he was internally bleeding for weks and weeks. hooked up to an IV in constant agonizing pain until the doctors found out it was e-coli poisoning. then he was cured in like 2 days. my bro got lucky cause he wasnt doing well. doctors are slow so have patience. |
