Had a blast, nice to see you again groovemoose, tmft,and of course jbooty. was "on a high" and it was just so perfect. just wish skye could have been there with us

Jes was great! She is a petite lady, she wore a bustier & track pants & sneakers. It was awesome to see her sing--her voice live is exactly the same as on the songs, no studio tweaking for her! She stood on a little platform next to the DJ booth & sang along as DFuse spun the tracks. I was about 4 feet from her.
She also sang "Everything with You". A guy standing by me said that's a big single in the UK right now.
At the end of the show I ended up standing by her (she was out by the bar) & I said "I thought you were amazing!" She said thank you & hugged me! I got hugged by Jes!
Nice to see Groovemoose, Jbooty & Ryan. GrooveMoose broke my heart when he said "I would never listen to Power Corruption & Lies--why would I listen to 80s music?" |

Ahh! You must have misunderstood me! I was simply saying that I don't really consider any album from the 80's to be in my "Best Album Ever" list. I love 80's music, The Cure, Depeche Mode, and others are some of my favs. Sorry that came across the wrong way.
In other news, it was an excellent show. Glad to see everyone made it back alright. Definite highlight of the evening was hearing Everything With You. For those of you that haven't heard it yet, you can hear it on www.sxsw.com under D:FUSE. So I think the next show I'll be at will be freeland.
