I want to gain more mass before I start doing any endurance training, so I'm surprised I can do that many. I was expecting more like 10-12. |

In my early twenties, there was a point where I could do 2 sets of 100 pushups in one sitting. It took me a long time to reach that level, but it was a goal of mine in college. I stopped doing them for a time, and quickly lost that ability. |

Here's a really great story on the original record holder for non-stop push-ups; he did 6,006.

Funny thing is, you don't need to be incredibly strong or anything, it just comes from practice/repitition.
I personally suck at Push-ups because I rarely do them anymore.

no idea cos they are the most boring thing in the world
I mean why would you want to do them? Supose if you tried bettering your last it might be good but even then it would take aaaaaggggggeeees. Personally I couldn't be ed (pull ups I'd like to try tho they are harder and so take less time). |

Wrist injuries from martial arts prevent me from doing pushups. On a good day I can do about 20, but its my wrists that give out before anything. |
