I would like a recap of how many TA members are actually producers... as it takes sooooooooo long for you producers to reply to posts !!

I was in the chill out forum the other day (my first time ever actually.... and boy are they helpfull...thx guys) and it only took literally 1 minuite for a reply or 3 !! Whats going on people ??

All producers say "I" if you exist and wish to give tips to the novice and semi alike.

With love to all TA members (of course) :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip:

theres quite a few pro producers about, but tbh the reason they dont post is all the e gettin from people regarding their music etc etc.

You'll find people who arent pro or semi pro to be just as helpful with advice.

My personal advice. Don't post up threads like this, you're contributing nothing positively with that kinda talk!

The only tips i was given when i first started out was experiment with programs, learn a program inside out before you start making music. Read up on resources. Check out the pinned threads for more help!

Theres no easy or quick route to producing good music, it all takes time, dedication, hard work & effort!

Don't mean to be rude but...... I am not a novice mate, I was speaking up for the people who are just starting out.

I really do not like tight fisted people when it comes to producing trance music, just because you learned the hard way (like me BTW !) doesn't mean that the noobees have to.....thats the whole point aint it ?? Sure.... dont be giving away presets or whatever, but you could at least give them a starting point !!

It has took me me 5 years to get to the stage where I am confident in my music (Thx to all TA dudes amongst other affiliated sites) but I am still learning.

This really wasn't my point, I just wanted to know how many pro/semi pros there were on this site as they took days to answer to questions.

With love always..............
RIPassion
Yeah I definitely learned the hard way... reason 2.0 about 1 and a half years ago and no guides at all. D: What was I thinking? BUT, I figured it all out somehow and came up with some original ways to do things in the process; I'm here to learn (i've learned more from the stickies than the last few months of threads combined... so if you just came here.. read all the stickies first).

I hope I can pass on what knowledge I've gotten to other people who were like me as well as mooching off those who've been at it a little longer ;) I only wish I had started a little early (then again, I guess me starting at barely 15 is pretty early, hehe)

theres quite a few, but they usually dont have time to post questions to people as they're busy working on their music.

However they'll all offer the same advice. TBH the advice what pro's offer arent gonna be any different to what average forum memeber joe will say.

The pro's have got to where they are through hard work, whilst many pro producers use this as their source of living then i doubt they're going to be giving away their advice which they've probably honed over the years willy nilly to people on a forum. Harsh but thats the way it is.

But if you look at the pinned topics, any newbie can get on there and start learning about how to make music out there. Simple fact really is majority of the new commers dont want to put in the hard work and read up on the subject.

Its good to see the humour guys.....lol

But noobies seem to ask questions regardless of the stickies (they probably dont even read em !!)

Maybe we need make a "noobie start out guide to trance" sticky, what do u recon Luke ?? I'm sure the producers could come up with great tips etc... !!

seriously there is no need!

i learnt from them stickies, if i can do everyone else can manage it no problem!

TBH the best advice i could offer anyone is screw the technical side, concentrate on creating excellent pieces of music, the technical side can be picked up over time. You get no marks for technicalities in this industry only with fellow producers, its about what works on the dancefloor, if every producer spent time on this then we'd have a thriving industry! :D
