My Trans Am gets about 10 mpg and needs premium gas....
So take whatever price you see on the sign and add 10 cents

Last year once I spent $55 on gas....and wasnt totally empty

I never thought it would take over 40 dollars to fill up my Prelude, but that's the way it is now. :(

Yeah but most EU countries are so small you can walk from one end to the other! :p

Heh but really, EU peepz are so much healthier than (most) North Americans because they actually walk everywhere and don't eat Mickey D's every day. It helps that most places one would need to go are within walkin distance or are easily accessible by public transit.

This picture illustrates my point:

Canada is a big country with huge distances, but really, SE Ontario is as populated if not more than any area in europe!

True most urban areas in Ontario are densely populated, but that still does not change the drive everywhere trend we seem to have. I have a buddy who drives to the corner store for god's sake! :whip: :whip: :whip:

dont feel like doing the math conversions but we are paying roughly $2.10 per gallon for regular here in buffalo. luckily i live close to the rez where prices are considerably lower
rabbitjoker
3.8 L = 1 US gal

Therefore $3.80 CAD$ per 1 gal.

$3.8 Canadian Dollar (CAD) = 3.10813 US Dollar (USD) (April 6 2005)

Think a gallon of gas is expensive?

This makes one think, and also puts things in perspective.

Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29 ...... $10.32 per gallon

Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19 .$9.52 per gallon

Gatorade 20 oz $1.59 . $10.17 per gallon

Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25 . $10.00 per gallon

Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15 . $33.60 per gallon

Vick's Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 .... $178.13 per gallon

Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 .. $123.20 per gallon

Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 ........ . $25.42 per gallon

Scope 1.5 oz $0.99 .$84.48 per gallon

And this is the REAL KICKER...

Evian water 9 oz $1.49..........$21.19 per gallon?! $21.19 for WATER - and the buyers don't even know the source. (Evian spelled backwards is Naive.)

So, the next time you're at the pump, be glad your car doesn't run on water, Scope, or Whiteout, or God forbid, Pepto Bismol or Nyquil.
Matt
well... it's a bitch really...

but you gotta love the incentive to walk, ride ur bike, use public transit, etc... maybe as oil prices climb, we'll see some clean-energy alternatives come to widespread use (and I don't mean hybrid cars...)
