A couple of things... you mis-spelt my name wrong ;)
Also, I'd be interested in contributing some banner designs. I'm a professional digital artist by trade, so I've made the odd thing in photoshop here and there. Anyway, I'll post some up later today.
I think they could be smaller, and I also question the logic of having everyones names on there. What if people drop out or new people join... it means having to design a new banner to accomodate them. |

*Updated your name.* Apologies! :p
The names are on the sigs so that people become familiar with producers of each genre. People post on other threads so it also helps with a little extra exposure ;) - Also the alliance names can be updated a little down the track (they arent set in conrete). Once the Alliance threads are set up; maybe a role call can be done annually (or every so often). Those who rock up to the role call get their names back on the SIG. ;) Sig updates are no problem anyway :p

Also:
-I appologise for the slow rate at which this is progressing. Ive only really had time to set up the Dark Trance alliance. The others will be up shortly. Thanks for everyones patience! :p
-I will put the name of the person setting up the each Alliance next to the genre name in the initial post. |

Hehe, cool no worries. It actually looks kinda cool spelt like that ;) I should have mentioned it before, but I didnt realise we were planning to have the names on the banners.
OK, well heres my attempt at the sigs. I thought I'd combine uplifting and melodic since they are fairly close and psy/tech/experimental seemed to work on Ricos one.
I guess they could be expanded to include peoples names or something, but maybe just in a small typeface along the bottom of each sig?

Thoses are pretty cool. i like the idea of being able to fit two banners in the sig location (as alot of people are in 2 alliances anyways). They may not need the names on them; but i do think they need a note saying "Click sig for MP3s" so people can URL direct to the specific alliance page to check out the talent. |

Yep, cool glad you like em :D Yeah, some sort of click here indication could be good. Maybe a url would be a good indicator to click on it... hmmm
I might try changing the colours on the melodic trance one. It looks a bit too much like the psy-tech one tho. |

I have nearly completed the break Beats & Chillout trance Alliance sig. Ive posted a preview of it below to see what you guys think before I start the Breakbeats & Chillout Alliance thread:
Ive still got to add '.A.Y.' as I forgot to do it last night!
-Also the main title says "Breaks & Beats" instead of Breakbeats. Should I change it or leave it??? |
