What does everyone think about this recent rework Paul has done of Felix da Housecat - Silver Screen?
I heard it in the Cream Amnesia Closing Party 2004 set.

#1. I dont think anyone has heard or seen paul call it a rework. So as far as im concerned he did not even touch it. The guy probably listends to soo many random tracks, it was probably some random whitelabel, or something to that extent.
#2. If he did do something to it, it sounds totally different from the other versions so imo it would be a remix. But that would just be an assumption.
#3. I wouldnt be supprised if some of his "reworks" were made by others.:conf:
this is from his site... but i dont think any of them were the version he plays now...

OK cheers. Just wondering cause i loved the original. Cause to me, it aint worth checking out if his just upped the bpm and added his drum loop. (sorry if im sounding anti-pvd, but im not, hes actually one of my fav artists).
And i agree with you on point 3. |

the bpms are faster, it has some added crazy synths as well.
ive looked, and i know others have as well, and i couldnt find a version that sounded like it.
it definately is extreamly wierd, and extreamly good live...
im sure there are some rips floating around...
