Jays home opener

So, it's the Blue Jays home opener today, started at 3PM, and it's not even televised? I imagine if you have the Rogers sports pack you can see it. Wouldn't you WANT to try and get people hooked first before you go charging them? The Jays are not exactly a huge draw, you'd think after the hockey strike they would take every opportunity to boost Jays popularity. The Dome is sold out and if you didn't follow baseball, you'd have no idea.
I shouldn't be surprised, Rogers is involved.
EDIT: Ok, I'm wrong, the schedule I saw a while back had 3PM as the home opener, I distinctly remember thinking how stupid that was to have an afternoon game on a weekday as the home opener.

So great to see the game sold out. Its been years since that happened. Hopefully Jays play well this year and people start supporting them a little more. I got my season pass in already, just waiting till i get back from school to start hitting up some games... |

Don't get excited about it being sold out yet. It is pretty much sold out EVERY year at the home opener. Was last year too. |

A buddy from work here left at 4pm to go meet his brother in barrie so that can head down to TO to check out the homer opener. i hope its a good game and the jays take it for us! :D
