There is only one.
Black Sabbath - Iron Man |
Nope, War Pigs tops that one in my opinion...
And, if we're really going there, then:
Jimi Hendrix and the Band of Gypsys - Machinegun (New Year's Eve Concert at the Fillmore 69-70)
:p

OK, one of them rare deals. I'll leave it out here for about an hour only because you n00bs have no concept of classic heavy metal, so here it is:
Jimi Hendrix ft Band of Gypysys - Machinegun (New Year's Eve Concert at the Fillmore 69-70):
Get it quick, it's gone soon, and Homey don't like PM's afterwards...

Is anyone really into metal? Im kinda am more into metal right now than trance |
I basically quit listening to trance when i started listening to metal.. Actually trance and metal are in some way quite similar.. Listen to Metallica - Master Of Puppets.. The song is structured like a trance song: 1st a couple of verses 2nd. the breakdown 3rd. the buildup and the solo 4th. the last verse..
Some of my favorite riffs are:
Metallica - Blackened / Battery / Master Of Puppets
Pantera - The Art Of Shredding
Slayer - South Of Heaven / Angel Of Death
Machine Head - Imperium
Megadeth - Holy Wars |

Eternal Tears of Sorrow have some musical gems as well, if you're into melodic death metal at all. |
Great band. Their song Prophetian is a personal favorite of mine. They regrouped last January, too. :)

yerrr!! Max was the soul of that band. When he left Sepultura was no more. ‘Attitude’ from the Roots album was the greatest. I actually loved the whole Roots album, I think it got a bit of bum wrap in it’s time. It’s now a freaken classic. |
Right on, man.
I think the real problem the fans had with the album was the decision to opt for a more corporate sound. A bunch of the more aggressive bands at the time were scoring more attention than they had in previous years (Slaughter of The Soul-era At The Gates was the most noticeable example of these changes, IMO) and thus had to appeal the new fan base. The Jonathan Davis collaboration was really what pissed most of us off, though.
And crap, I forgot to mention Ministry in my first post. With exception to Jourgensen's synth pop years, practically everything they've done is gold. |

That's good news, are they set to have an album out soon? |

| They're working on one, so we should see something new by them during the next few months. |

shyerrr I like it at that point on Lateralus; it is where the song takes off & kicks into rock mode.
'Forty Six & 2' is another classic Tool track. At the end of that track Im always peaking & head bashen. |
