saw Metallica in concert and Godsmack opened for them...that was fun.


they played dyers eve actually...i didnt know the song cuz i'm only familiar with their main popular ones, but the bf is a diehard fan and he was like, "OH MY GOD, i can't believe they played dyers eve bla bla"

then he played it for me in the car....some of their old stuff is a little too hard for me..like the crazy guitar pieces that just follow no rhythm (at least not to me) but when it's accompanied by a really sick, steady & hard drum piece, i'm like YEA! hahaha

It was the first song of Metallica I ever heard & it got me into metal. As a kid I had the 'And Justice for All' tape playing none stop & it was the beginning of my rebelion against my parental units hehe.

gotta love the live version in russia at the monsters of rock 1992.unreal is an understatement...
