I've been getting some serious pop ups these past months and when I check what program is runing, there's something that's called pop4. Is this an AD/ SPYWARE program? I can't seem to kill this pop up ad crapp, even with spybot.
Any help will do, thanks ppl.
*when I try to run spybot, i keep getting this spyware called PeopleOnPage ... i think this is it* |

The Microsoft Beta Spyware tool is pretty good too.
But definatley use Firefox instead of IE
but clean up the spyware programs first
and most of all, stop browsing those porn sites when you are picking up those spywares!!! LOL |

And you can set it up to run as a service so you will not get any spyware on your system. Also it automatically updates itself with the lastest spyware definitions.
I think the default instalation will give you both those features and you can disable them if you like, but it does not seem to be a big memory or bw hog like most MS stuff!!!
Most of the other tools mentioned earlier only remove spyware once they are already on your system. WTF
Al little to late for my liking!!! |
