don't really think there is a dress code..... I ususally go with running shoes and t-shirt and pants
and ALEC usually dresses like a bum when he goes to any party....and they still let him in
that being said, the majority of people there will prolly be dressed nicely, so if you wanna hit on the chicks, try to dress reasonably |

If I was still in Ottawhack I'd be hitting this up! :)
props to Zadek on the bookings @ Helsinki lately.. Misstress Barbara, Sandra Collins, Roger S, a bunch more and now Ferry Corsten and John Acquaviva.
I could care less that it isn't afterhours either.. it's a nice intimate club where you can drink like a fish and be home for 3am. Too bad the bookings tend to be off nights but it's under$tandable.
I am sure my sister will take a lot of pics tonight! |

All I can say is WOW! It was my first time seeing Ferry live and he was nothing short of spectacular!! Everything to the night was great. The venue was nice and intimate, the early set time (relative to guvernment), Ferry's energy! and even moreso, the crowd's energy!! Everyone was there to party, very friendly, and no problems throughout the whole night. Mad props to the opening DJ, Chakra V, who seriously impressed everyone, and was giving out free promo cds too! I gotta give mine a listen today, but I'm sure it's quality stuff :)
Ferry played from 12:30 to 3am. But when he went to leave, everyone kept cheering so much that he came back and played an encore - none other than Tiesto's Adagio for Strings!! Then he went to leave again, even turned off the turntables and everything, and the ENTIRE club started chanting "digital punk... digital punk... digital punk!!"
So we kinda made him come back and play a second encore, and he was happy to do it. Nice to see a DJ with such a great attitude, very friendly and always smiling, getting the crowd into it, and taking pictures, signing autographs and shaking hands with his fans!
Great job Helsinki, Chakra V and especially Ferry Corsten! Come back any time :) |
