aiight F*** it ill do my review now
Got to crobar @ 12, cut the line since i know one of the managers there, checked my ID, got in but to the wrong line, i had will call tix, so i had to go on another line where they checked my id again and were giving me so i just walked away and went straight in, edgar was dropping some bombs like

i dunno what happened to him from 1-2 i didnt see him at all i just saw 2 guys messing with the sound??? but to my surprise, he stayed and chilled til 8:20 when PvD was done
anyway PvD came on and ripped it from the beginning w/

He played from 2-8:20 which is about when i left.... he played good from 2-3 then kinda took it down for an hour and ripped it again from 5-8. He played some siiickkk tunes like

i got my girls vandit shirt signed along with 2 flyers which was cool, the sound was on point and the vibe was awesome, i never wnated to leave, i am running on NOOO sleep and its getting harder by the minute. i left @ 8:10, as i was walking out i heard him throw on another track :mad: :mad: i should have stayed but i was late for work
i have plenty of pics that i will post when i get home
i didnt c many TA's, i saw DanAX and caught a glimpse of vlad but thats about it, im sure i saw all of u at 1 point just didnt recognize any 1

two words can describe the night....
simply amazing.
got in when the doors open and stayed till 645. The place was packed from wall to wall. PVD just tore the house down and im also running on no sleep.
Saw bree a few times with other TA's

PVD ripped me a new ass last night. Lots of amazing tunes and a lot of them new to my ears. I had such a great time, I was so happy it was at Crobar because it made it that much better for me. I didn't see any bull going on even though it was hellaciously packed!! All the way up the stairs, all the way into the back, out into the hip hop room. But I didn't feel like I was dancing in an oven like at Avalon or something. I ended up leaving at 6 a.m. (because I'm old) but my money was already well spent.
There's nothing like PVD in NYC and like everybody else, I can't wait now until Summerstage. He brought his A game last night. |

Awesomefrigginite...one of the best sets I have heard in quite sometime now. I was there by 11 to avoid the que and did just that.
The sound and vibe as pointed earlier was just right!!! But the AC Duct/Smoke machine makes too much sound...i mean c'mon its louder than the speakers....the first time I thot the Mp3's were cooked or somethin....and even PvD was shruggin and pointin to the guy on the second-level booth...but anyways...Crobar is SICK!
I just think his start could have been better to suite my taste perfect! Insane nite! Cant rant enough bout it.
Saw Bree and her Crew gettin the bands and she was playin host to all the guys....nice. I think vtec was in a Quicksilver T....saw few others...but dont know you guys yet. We shall meet soon enuff... ;-) maybe Sander K next week??!!
Guys, can you please tell me the track which had robotized vocals?? I couldnt ID it though I have heard it before......something like "201 201 201"....dunno....hahah I maybe totally shootin the lyrics....
Anyways....left at 8:30 from there....My ears are still buzzing BAD!!! Do I have tinnitus?? Damn!

^^^ ditto... even had a fight with my old lady about it - I wanted to go, she didn't and didn't want me to go.... We went to see Moby in Philly (which kinda sucked - I expected more electronic he did more rock):wtf: - not to mention the place was packed with old geezers.
After the concert was over, I still had plenty of time to drive from philly to ny and make it a great night - of course she had to be a bitch about it, so I ended up not going. Haven't talked to her since last night - since we got into fight. :whip:
this sucks so bad.... I knew it was gonna be an awesome night.

| He played my original "Alone" Perfect timing too.. When I heard it being mixed in I rushed and pushed through the crowds to get to the right side of the Dj booth to ask the security guy to let me in cuz i work pvd and its my song and i have to be there and other bull to get him to let me in. He didnt really budge but this lady that was up there came down and i told her who i am and thats my song right now and she let me in. I ended up standing next to Paul who was very happy to see me, and even took his hand and rubbed it on my head like we're buddies or something. Anyway I was jumping around during my song and that was probably the best night of my life. Got to talk to Paul a bit as well, which was nice since he seems to joke around a lot. I stayed up there for a couple of more songs and ended up leaving around 4 because my stupid friends wanted to leave and they had my keys in their car... so i missed out!!! |
