I agree but, it's a funny thing. We're the world's largest Catholic population, yet we don't even have saints canonised by the Vatican (although Pradre Cicero is worshipped as if he were one), Protestant churches are rapidly growing and we seem to be quite forgotten in this conclave thing... among other things.
Choosing a Brazilian pope would be the wisest idea, in my opinion, not only because of Brazil but because of Latin America as a whole and even Africa, to an extent, as Brazil isn't a "rich country".

yep. agreed.
what is the total population of brazil btw.. |

I think they will select the German or the Italian.
The Belgian also has an outside chance |

| Brazil already has many football world cups. So it wouldn't be fair if the next pope was from there. |

Our absurd number of world cups is the proof that God is Brazilian. Not as fair as having a Brazilian pope then :p
Or a Nigerian one: He would rock! |

I disagree. The number of world cups proves that your country has many gods, the players, therefore a pope is not necessary.
And I still think the Nigerian will not get it. It would be great but I just don't see it happening. Might be wrong though. |
