All I read about is how he sucks as a DJ. Anybody seen him live recently?

His productions that Ive heard are mint.

He played up here with Dave Seaman a couple weeks ago and well, I thought he was awesome. I was going in not expecting much, but left hoping to see him back here again soon (next week!) and far more pleased with his set than I was with Dave Seaman's.

Well....

I disagree with Dave... I saw Luke when he opend up for Dave Seamen here in La at the Mayan.
I thought Luke set was Dull and Borning. His Mixing skills and Track selections where not that Great as well. He also had no personality behing the decks. Didn't even Crack a smile.

:stongue: Btw.. is it me... or does he look like Sasha????:stongue:

True about the personality....didn't really crack a smile...

But I thought he was great. And he had the whole place rocking. everyone seemed to love his set.

Maybe he just didn't care to show LA the love. :-p

i would really like to make it out to this but i have a friend in town. To be honest, i'd rather go see Creamer & K on saturday night.

CND you going to the Ashley Casselle show on the 30th? i think a bunch of us are going up to MIKE the night before, might try and pull a sober night for Casselle

*Remembers how drugged up Sasha looked at Mezzanine last year* :haha: :haha:

Even though I heard mixed reviews on Chable's DJing skills, I'd still go and see him sometime soon. But it does seem to be a bit of a downer if the crowd is really into the set but the DJ is not. :wtf:

If not Friday night in SAN DIEGO, yoo can catch Luke on Sunday night in LOS ANGELES. He's definitely excited to play the headlining slot, as he's been a bit limited as an opener. Expect to hear all his Trojan bombs. He's obviously an ace producer, so I would give him a chance.

Luke's solo headlining dates

22 April SAN DIEGO @ On Broadway (Luke Only)
23 April HONOLULU @ The Living Room (Luke Only)
24 April LOS ANGELES @ Club Ivar (Luke Only)
29 April MEXICO CITY, Mexico @ Continental (Luke Only)
30 April MONTERREY, Mexico @ Skizzo (Luke Only)

24 Hours: Interview with Luke Chable
Luke Chable opened for Dave Seaman one night in Los Angeles, and delivered a solid set in spite of sound troubles on stage. The next night he chatted up Jason Bentley on Metropolis. In between, he had a non-alcoholic beverage (he's on some Atkins/South Beach-type regimen) on the roof of a hip Downtown LA hotel with me. All this, before his West Coast headlining debut, with Christopher Lobsinger at the Ivar in Hollywood on April 24th. It's a lot to handle, even for a wonder boy from Oz, so we'll have to forgive him if he seems a bit groggy.

Well I e-mailed to get on the list.

Last week I was on the list for G&D but the line was around the block so I stepped up and paid in full.

Diamond Bar is closed for remodeling temorarily. All the eventvibe people have no where to go on Fridays but On Broadway.

Does anybody know what Diamond Bar is going to do the other six days of the week besides Fridays. Sounds like the investment is in a full time nightclub (trapize, sound system and beverage bars are being built). Lets face it the location cannot be beat. I like the building much. South Market has a better nightclub vibe than north.

My prayer is that Polka Dot can pick up Thursdays & Saturdays.

God bless Polka Dot!!
