Great Mix Minyana! The mix is all over the place and I love it. :D
You have really good taste, especially like the inclusion of Starkid - Crayons (Leama and Moor in Loving Memory Mix); that is one of my all-time favorites.:eyes: I've wanted to include it in one of my mixes but that mix didn't seem to fit, I did use Starkid's "Scribbling on the Walls" mix in my march mix which is good also.
Also.. Such Great Colours.. Awesome! Love to see this kind of originality. Its kinda weird how you ramp up the pitch into Yimanya but it actually works pretty well.
My constructive critisism: levels and mixing could use work, but I'm a bit picky when it comes to that and I could tell that wasn't the main objective anyways.;) I didn't like the inclusion of the bootleg of Bang Bang, bootlegs are weird and sound out of place, even thought that mix is f-ing tight! I saw Marco V play it live and the bootleg doesn't do it justice, but you mix it in there pretty well so what can you do.:p A couple of songs are a bit overplayed, choons to be sure but I think I've heard them too much, I think you know which ones I'm talking about.
I can tell this was a fun mix, its definately fun to listen to. Keep it up and stay original.
From the looks of this mix you may like my April mix. If you feel like it, check it out and let me know. ;)

Hey man yeah I know what you mean about the tracklist it wasnt made recently its pretty old but I just not finally got it hosted. :) The bootleg was a tough call but I had planned on remixing that track actually lol literally the next day I hear marco v's so I had to throw it in for personal reasons:D Yeah Crayons I threw in memory of Adam that song means alot to me. Glad you liked Such Great Colours man and I just finished a final version of must be dreaming as well. PM me if you want either track. :)
Thnx for the great response! Im glad you liked it Im working on trying to make mixes suprising again ive got a new one with some ambient muzik and more postal service a good summer feel mix.
Oh yeah srry the volume levels ive got a crappy behringer and it doesnt read levels to well so im working on that im gonna master it soon so the levels are better when I hand out cds. |
