| I'm all for it, it's in January, start of a new semester, screw Thursday classes :). I don't think youll be getting any under 19's to a wednesday night anyways so it should be hype! Venue... can I say Element! Love the basement, nice 'n intimate if the crowd isn't too big. |

I'd say that a wednesday night would definitely bring out the hardcores but from my experiences, a 6 hr set on a weekday is pushing it. When Seb Fontaine played a 3 hr set at Tonic (on a Wednesday) a few weeks back, it was packed for a while but the place was really starting to thin out around 3 am.
I guess my point is is that people are definitely going to hold back a little bit on a wednesday party just because most people have work/school on thursday. But those smaller parties can definitely be a nice change from a guvernment/koolhaus party.
Orkidea would be good to hear on a good system like the guvernments though... my 2cents.. |

and all this time i thought you were like 15 years old or something...sorry man, but to be in OAC, and have spelling and grammar like that...its atrocious! don't mean to pick on you, but i think 95% of the people on here will agree with me that it requires more effort on our part to read and understand your posts. It probably requires more effort on your part to write all egyptian like that too!! ;)

man, when i first heard orkidea at SS i was _totally_ blown away...i so want to see him again, but i live 3 hours from t-dot, so having it on a wednesday would automatically count me out. thats the only reason i missed PvD at the guv.
personally, i could care less if its not 19+, but please, please, (please!!) don't make it on a weeknight! friday/saturday night is all i can do!

| yea, i'd rather it be on a weekend in a tier venue than during a week in a better venue... but 6 hours of orkidea sounds gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood :D :D |

My vote would be De-Koze, I've only seen him once when he came on after Sandra Collins @ Turbo. Loved it! You can see Scaife any friday night of any week (not knocking him, but a change), De-Koze is a little change and amazing at that! |

This is not aimed at Blue_Neon directly but minors in general that always complain that they never get to go the 19+ events so make it 19 plus and bitch about it. Do you think everyone who is 19+ was born that way? They got to skip the part about not being 19+ and go to all the parties and you're somehow an unfortunate person and it's discrimination? Everyone's been there, everyone had to wait or found a way. As as it sounds, good things come to those who wait. |
