Ok this past summer i was driving home from a party drunk, crashed into a phone pole and left the scene. Because i already had a dwi i couldnt stay at the scene or i wouldve went to jail. Ok so my car was totaled and I didnt care about that it was junk anyway.
But now months later im getting a bill for the phone pole of 2,600 apprx. And my insurance i think should cover it. I had proprty damage coverage.But will they if:
.It was a hit and run (which it was)
.If i say someone else was driving my car (friend,etc) (because i cant really admit to that i wasnt legally allowed to drive at that time)
.If i make up a story that it is was stolen and have no idea who drove it
Should I just tell the truth about what happened to the insurance or take a chance at making up a story considering they might not reimburse me for ther damage i caused |

| Driving drunk is one of the dumbest things you can do. If you're really that stupid, it's your own fault if the insurance doesn't cover it. I hope they find some evidence so they take your license away or get you sent to jail or something. :whip: |

i sell insurance for one of the top insurance carriers...
you're lucky you still have insurance with the way you drive. you should probably just pay it yourself because if you turn it into your insurance company one of two things will probably happen...
1. they'll non-renew your policy
2. you're gonna be paying probably that same amount every six months for car insurance...
so maybe you should stop driving drunk dumbass... |
