John 00 Flemming at Avalon NYC (May 6)

I have never seen John Flemming, I also haven't seen Sasha by himself for the entire night. And I have never been to a venue in NYC. So......on 5/6 would it be better to go to "00" at Avalon or Sasha at Crobar?

J00F is really good live, one of my favorites, but Avalon is just a travesty to me if I have the choice lately I would choose Sasha/Wink at Crobar.
I went to Avalon on Saturday for Christopher Lawrence. The music was blistering but the crowd was well.... I've run out of adjectives to describe that mess. It was just deplorable and they were imposing on my fun.
The funny thing is though is that the last time I saw J00F at Avalon, it was hardly packed and lots of room to dance. The typical rotten elements of Avalon weren't hardly there. But the last experience left me with nightmares practically. My 2 friends too.

| yea lots of fobs at avalon but the thing is if ur there and drunk...its not going to matter which is why im going. i stand my ground if one of those shirtless dancing off the wall weird asians bumps into me its going to be their last time at a club for awhile because they wont have the legs to dance =) |

| J00F has been spinnin psytrance lately. I recently caught him in my own backyard (fairfax VA). I was expecting some good ol fashion trance and maybe some exclusive tracks (since hes big on unsigned tracks) but all I heard was psy and one old skool trance track. I had a chance to peep his dj skills up close and personal...his skillz are friggin awesome, seamless, and energtic. But Im sure hell break out some good for NYC. He really knows how to interact with crowd!! |

| Well if you like progressive go to sasha, if you like trance/psy harder stuff go to j00f. I never seen sash live, but i can tell you one thing J00F sets an atmosphere like none other. He brings you on a trippy m usical journey that will get you off your ass and on your feet. Personally I would checkout sasha, cause I never seen him live. But for you its all on what kin dof music you prefer. |
