| Na, I would have liked to check out ATB and the Judge but you know what? That club Antro is way too small for my taste. I think these bigger headlines need to go to Cowboy or what used to be called Far West Rodeo. Where the shows packed beyond belief ?? |

No offense, but when a global headlining DJ comes to town...it could be in the McDonald's Playland for all I care and I will still see them. I'm not there to stare at the walls, critique the decorum, or pay attention to anyone BUT the DJ.
Maybe I'm just different...
I'm sure everyone would LOVE to book their shows at Cowboys, but if you haven't noticed, more people in SA love Country music as opposed to those that favor EDM. Do the math and you'll see why the owners of Cowboys would rather have Country music at their venue than anything else. |

Wish I could have made this, but got back too late from driving to Dallas for a (rained-out) Rangers baseball game.
I actually like critiquing the decorum & decor of places, but I agree with Dave--DJs get booked where a promoter thinks they can make money off the show. Bigger headliner==bigger venue. Promoters don't want to lose their shirts.
How was the show? |
