i remember they did that last year for armin during memorial day weekend. every other time ive been there i havent had any problems with getting onto the floor. |

I can agree with that, and having spent my semester in Centrum, I definitely know that the 'dam knows how to get down (Along with Utrecht and Rotterdam), and Holland is definitely a hub for dance music...
Chicago doesn't have any GREAT clubs, but in reality, they only have 2 spoots (3 if you count HoB) where headlining talent will show, and I, personally, think Vision is as good as any room I've been in this side of the Atlantic (Not counting Miami, as far as US EDM, that place is in a league all its own) But I mean, this may sound like blasphemy, but I like Vision more than I like Crobar in NYC or Rain in Vegas... haven't been to Ice yet...
In any event, I'd also like to point out that I've seen some of the best shows I've ever seen at really ty "clubs..." I remember this Dave Ralph show at The Rave a few years back with like 30 people there, max, but he owned... and I don't even really like Dave Ralph :D
In any event, final conclusiong: Yes, Holland rules and is no doubt my favorite European country, however, we're here, in the midwest, USA for the moment, so we gotta work with what we got... I'm a 4 hour drive from Vision, but I'll be there the next two weekends (5/14 & 5/21) :D |
