| what a night. Got in around 1:30 or so after waiting on no line. Howells was fire the entire time. Track of the night for me was Justin Drake's remix of Freeze Frame - The Rear. That riff sounded ridiculous on that system. Ran into a lot of old faces, met some new ones. I'm definitely becoming a big Spirit Fan. It was nice and dark in there unlike Crobar which is always a plus. What else is there to say. he killed it. |

i had a great time, howells was pretty good but i liked the fact that so many familiar faces were there.. got to meet a bunch of you for the firstime, v-tec, frost, miss bliss, verdogs to name a few... it was also my first time at spirit so the last time i was in there was when it was still twilo... must say it brought back so many good memories... props to the made crew for making this happen, i will continuously support your parties keep up the good work. :p |

OMG!!!!!!!!!! I have been waiting for Danny for the last year to come back here and come back he did!!!! Everything from the music to the vibe to the club was right on. Last time I went to Spirit I had a horrible time and really didn't want to go back but for Danny, I was like okay what the hell. I am soooooooo glad I did. The vibe, the vibe, the vibe.....I found you again (for 1 night at least) Everyone was so nice and open and just chill. I saw many I hadn't seen since ARC days, so good to see you. Fianlly Finally got to party with DJ Tek, like party, not have him on the decks, wish I could have spent more time with you. Overall I give it 2 freakin thumbs up.
Best part of the night when Jay came home with a signed poster for me from Danny AND my name is spelt right.....baby your awesome. Now I need to frame it and hang it up in my NEW apartment!!!
I have a changed view of Spirit, sound was on point, for myself I left with little to no ringing in my ears. Crowd was wild.
Worst part of the night.....losin Jay's glasses they got totally mangaled. So I am starting the Jay Eye Glasses (accepting cash and check donations....sorry no Credit Cards) Fund. :happy2: :happy2: :happy2: |
