TONIGHT WAS FUN!!!!! WHEW!!!

Just getting in the door at 8:00...what can I say?????

Arrived just past midnight - fairly empty still everyone was downstairs in the Lounge - very nice house was played - lots of energy.

Had my first alcoholic beverage at Boa as they were serving drinks tonight (WICKED!)

Met JoinT and shared a JoinT, met Jenny_Pie as well, busting out the moves.

DDTT was in full effect - heard 2 different mixes of Rachel Starr.....the second one the Gabriel and Dresden mix fused with Teneglia's Element (AWESOME!!!) - Mr. Roboto (SICK)and Chilliwack ( My Girl....gone gone gone she been gone so long, she been gone gone gone so long...)WTF! - WOOT WOOT - awesome remix!!! Pump up the Jam remix, and so many others that I knew I'd forget when writing this :( ****CLASSIC REMIX THAT WAS PLAYED (as it being a new release from Release Records- I think) - RALPHIE ROSARIO - U USED TO HOLD ME - U USED TO DUB ME - sweet!!!!!

Once again it was hot a FAACCKK! in the their - PATIO SOON PLEASE!!!:D

Good crowd - everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. A very pleasant mix of music - house diversity at it's finest. The night flew by. Big thanks and congrats to Erica Kelly and Ali/Shanna and the crew for bringing a good night out - those the went to Creamer last outing - commented that he was much better this time - who knows I cannot judge as I was not there - I have a feeling though tonight he played more uptempo and therefore kept peoples attention and vibe hyped up.

Signing off!!!!

:tongue2 :tongue2

What a crazy night!!!

I got there around 1, the main room was empty, so decided to grab a vodka and redbull to start off the night. The beats were amazing downstairs. I couldn't help but start dancing.

Went back upstairs around 1:30, and there was a solid amount of people dancing, and the beats were bumping, but this was only the beginning. The beats kept getting dirtier and dirtier. When creamer came on he started dropping the dirtiest tribal beats... I did not see this coming! After about three songs in the drums were pouding and making me dance like a mad man. His set did not slow down at all. he kept it strong till his last song. But it wasn't over yet, MV wanted his turn on the tables. And did he ever keep it going. It was tribal mayhem last night and I love it. Not what i expected, but was damn delighted:D

Overall amazing night. Boa never fails, have never had a bad night there. Thank you to Release Records and BOA for throwing an amazing night. I'll be back soon as always.

cheers

holy crap this party was SIIIIIIIIICCCCKK

got in, practically empty upstairs, grabbed a drink/smoked a doob in the lounge, head back upstairs 20 minutes later and it's kickin!

Jerome Robbins threw down a wicked dirty electro-ish set and I just couldn't leave the dancefloor.. sooooo many great tracks. 2 hours of bliss..

Then Creamer comes on and I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't that!! He just dropped crazy tribal bomb after crazy tribal bomb.. it was absolutely ridiculous and BOA was goin off like the bombs he was dropping...

MV came on and threw down this D DARK TT set.. It was dope - had the place going berserk for hours..

I seriously don't think I heard a single track that even came close to mediocre.. the music was ACE!!

What a fantastic night. Props to R.R. for providing excellent tunage all night long. The vibe was just crazy at all times, both upstairs and down.

REDUX LOUNGE
Nick Holder i believe started things off in the lounge, and i can honestly say it was probebly the worst set i've heard at Boa EVER. I dont mean to sound so harsh, but when a guy trainwrecks on consecutive occasions and displays such lack of creativity in a set it has to be said. Maybe he was just having a bad night, but i'm glad it only lasted two hours.

Gilles Bernard then came on, and immediately grabbed the crowds attention with a deep groovy vibe that we would normally be accustumed to hearing in the main room. Great tempo, and fantastic track selection, i would expect to hear more things from this guy in the near future. Definately a great fit to Boa's sound, and i am definately looking forward to having him back in the near future.

MAIN ROOM
With the great tunes being played in both rooms i bounced between them more often than i usually do. Jerome Robbins dropped some serious bombs in his two hour slot. For the brief time i was there he sounded great, and had the crowd moving early and often. Thanks for the promo cd, fantastic collection of tunes (most of which were played on this night!).

Creamer then hit the decks and completely destroyed. Whatever people have said in the past about him being a 'snoozefest' (or to that affect) should be slapped in the face! Such fresh sounds, and killer productions were unleashed in a fury, the crowd just went off. I wasnt expecting brilliance in the mixing/programming department, but to my surprise it was quite good. Not quite the flow of a 'top notch' set, but so many bangers crammed in a two hour span it didnt matter.

MV had the headliner slot and started things out a lot harder than i anticipated. Very upbeat, driving progressive stuff in the early stages of his set that sounded amazing on that system. As his set progressed it became more hard edged techy house, definately the sound i was craving.

Overall a fan-freakin-tastic night that left a smile on everyones face. Congrats to everyone affiliated with Release Records for putting together a special night.

I was told the same and thus (obviously) didn't make it out.

Damnit! I just let myself down - big time.

this was in the lounge right? I had heard that Holder was on the whole night - but if it was Bernard from about 2am onwards then yes he definitely dropped some sick diiirty beats.
