I don't shave/wax my chest. Think I did my chest a long time ago, with razor, and didn't break out.
Have fun in the DR! I was there three weeks ago. Watch for hustlas! |

well well well... :stongue:
no but good question. i don't think breaking out should be a problem...i guess you might be a little red depending on how much hair you got to remove...but i suppose the only reason you would break out would be because of an allergy to the stuff you are using to remove it... |

| I shaved my stomach last year and got razor burn probably the first 3 weeks, but it eventually goes away. Started shaving my chest now this year and after 2 weeks I still have a little razor burn. So if you're only doing it for the Dominican and have sensitive skin, don't bother. |

It's inevitable. The ingrown hairs show out badly on a white chest. But theyll disappear after a week or so.
Are you removing the nipple hair to impress the lovely ladies? |

| Why not test a little bit and see how that goes? A man with a smooth chest is oh so sexual. |

OMG, this thread needs advice from a girl who waxes.
You won't get ZITS from waxing..but you WILL get INGROWN HAIRS. The way to prevent them after waxing is to exfoliate your skin everyday in the shower. I recommened exfoliating gloves. You can buy them cheap at Walmart in the cosmetics section.
A good alternative to waxing is Nair. Just be sure to follow the directions. |

| Oh, and for God's sake Eric, if you're going to get it waxed, get it done professionally at a salon/esthetician. It'll cost more than doing it yourself...but they're professionals for a reason. Plus it's usually smokin' babes that work at those places. |
