What is your max download/upload speed?

I'm curious to know 2 things. Who your provider is, and what is your max download/upload rate. Please be honest here. I'll start off:
My provider is Comcast. My max download/upload is 500k/30k per sec.
I'm curious to know if anyone out there is using Verizon's FIOS service which is only available in certain parts of the country. You get 15MB(15,000k per sec) download, and 2MB(2,000k per sec) upload!! You can even upgrade to 30MB down, and 5MB up!! :eyespop: |

are you sure its bytes/sec and not bits/sec? |

Your right Boomer... I went back and looked closer, its Mbits, not MB. :( Oh well, thats still not a bad download speed though. 15Mbits/per sec would be around 2MB down. |

That's the connection that has been tested using a single university computer in a lab of over 200. I'm assuming it applies to the computer I'm using because I've transfered files on AIM at over 5 MB/sec before. |
